The Annual Council Meeting has
established four District Committees to support the work of New
Council to build capacity and invest in local
communities.
Each
Committee works strategically with communities, partners and
services and is responsible for:-
Some functions and budgets
delegated by the Cabinet.
Providing a
consultation route and district view on Kirklees wide strategic
plans, prioritisation of local services, challenge to service areas
and changes to delivery.
Setting a District Committee
vision and priorities, and a plan of how it will be achieved (Plan
of Place).
Building a
working relationship with the Cabinet and the Cabinet portfolio
leads.
