Overview and Scrutiny Panel for Health and Social Care
Purpose of committee
A Scrutiny Panel that comprises 6 Councillors and 4 voluntary Co-optees that looks into issues relating to peoples wellbeing, adult social care and public health. The Panel also fulfils the Council’s health scrutiny function which means that a significant element of the Panel’s work is focused on reviewing the activities of local health service providers and commissioners.
