There are at least 5 car related businesses on this road, and cards from these are parked in front of houses from 8am - 6pm, up to 7 days a week, sometimes overnight. These cars belong to the operators of the business mostly. Sometimes these are left for a week or more because the business claim they haven't enough room.

Thank you for forwarding your application for permit parking on Luck Lane to prevent parking associated with the garage on the opposite side of the road and help you park near your home due to your mobility problems,
Permit parking is introduced in areas where, because of a factor such as a university or hospital, residents have difficulty parking near their homes for the majority of the day. I am sorry but these schemes are not introduced on individual streets or for a small number of properties as this would merely displace the problem there. Nor is it introduced where more than 60% of residents have off-street parking and I notice that the majority of residents have parking at the back of their home. So I cannot agree to your request.
We can however consider introducing a disabled marking outside a resident’s home where residents have difficulty accessing their home due to a number of steps from their parking area when they have mobility problems. Applications for these can be made directly online on the Council’s website.
