Purpose:

Consideration of Kirkburton Parish Council’s application to have a neighbourhood area designated for the purposes of producing a neighbourhood development plan.

The proposed neighbourhood area does not cover the whole of the Civil Parish. It covers the area of Kirkheaton (part of the Kirkburton Civil parish and encompassing the ward of Kirkheaton excluding the areas of Battyeford and Colne Bridge to the north-northeast of the ward).

Decision:

That the Kirkburton Parish Council Neighbourhood Area Application, as attached at Appendix 1 of the report, be approved.
