Previous decision-making included future revisions to charges annually as per Council financial Procedure Rules and that future revisions to parking tariffs / charges be delegated to the relevant Executive Director or Service Director, in consultation with the relevant Cabinet Member, in accordance with the Financial Procedure Rules.
The decision is to increase all parking tariffs / charges by the current inflationary rate of 3%, including a rounding of fees.
Revised charges will come into operation as follows:
Resident and Visitor Parking Permits – from 1 February 2026
All other parking charges/tariffs/fees- from 1 April 2026
Parking charges will remain at the 25/26 rate at Colne Valley Leisure Centre car park, New Street, Slaithwaite. This is in line with the existing legal agreement for this car park, as agreed with Kirklees Active Leisure (KAL).
