Purpose:
The Kirklees Highways Design Guide
Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) has been produced which aims
to promote high standards of highway design that reflect nationally
recognised best-practice, and facilitate the delivery of high
quality residential, employment and mixed-use developments in
Kirklees. The document provides more detailed information to
support the implementation of the Local Plan. It has been prepared
in accordance with the regulations and has been subject to 6 weeks
of public consultation.
Decision:
That approval be given for the adoption of the Highway Design Guide Supplementary Planning Document and that officers be delegated authority to consider the suggested modifications presented at the meeting for inclusion within the document.
