Purpose:

This report to Cabinet asks for consideration and approval for proposal to establish a Council backed LAD2 energy efficiency scheme for private sector households. The scheme would look to support qualifying households through the provision of Home Appreciation Loan funded by the GF.

Decision:

That approval be given to the establishment of a Local Authority backed private sector energy improvement scheme and the creation of a £1m fund, initially, to offer financial support through Home Appreciation Loans for qualifying households.
