The Council has been awarded the sum of £2,764,500 by West Yorkshire Combined Authority to help support local authority delivery of economic development activity over a three-year period. (04/23 – 03/26)
The gainshare funding will be used to support the Housing Growth Team and enable delivery of a largescale programme of development across Council sites alongside bespoke work with developers to unlock challenging sites and help tackle market failure.
The decision is to receive external funding from West Yorkshire Combine authority; to enter into grant agreement with WYCA; and to deliver the project.
