Decision taken to extend the legal agreement between Council and landowner of Railway Street Car Park, Dewsbury for a 12 month period, with the option to extend for further 12 months thereafter included in the decision.

To extend the legal agreement for an additional 12 months with an option to extend for a further 12 months. As part of this there has been an adjustment in the tariffs chargeable, uplifting tariffs in line with other off-street car parking tariffs.

Previous agreement whereby Council manages the car park on behalf of landowner was in place for 25 years from 1999 to 2024. Previous agreement term has ended, with additional 12-month extension now in place.

Tariffs for the car parks under the new agreement will be:

1 hour £0.40

2 hours £0.90

3 hours £1.60

4 hours £2.50

5 hours £3.30
