Purpose:

Implementation of a new Play Strategy for Kirklees. The introduction of a new Strategy will include public consultation to help to realign the current play provision that is available across the district and moving to a new delivery model as outlined in the Play Strategy.

Decision:

That authority be delegated to the Service Director (Commercial, Regulatory and Operational) to approve the detailed engagement process and subsequent delivery model on how play will be specifically delivered in the district, according to the principles held within the strategy document.
