The report presents Cabinet with the outcomes from the non-statutory consultation to deliver services in a different way and seeks approval to move to the representation stage of the legal process to decommission 6 transitional places and outreach at Headlands CE (VC) JI&N School for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

(1) That the responses to the non-statutory consultation proposal to decommission specialist provision at Headlands CE (VC) Junior, Infant and Nursery School, and deliver the service in a different way, be noted.

(2) That Officers be requested to carry out the next stage of the legal process and publish statutory notices to decommission 

six transitional places and outreach at Headlands CE (VC) Junior, Infant and Nursery School for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

(3) That Officers be requested to report the outcomes of the representations received during the statutory publication period to Cabinet.
