Exclusion of the Public

To resolve that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

Decision:

Determined.

14:

Consideration of the taking of enforcement action against the erection of a first floor conservatory and decked area - 'Bar 10', 10 Lidget Street, Lindley, Huddersfield

To consider a proposal of enforcement action.

Exempt information applied under the provision of paragraphs 2 and 6 of Part 1, Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 and in the interest of protecting the identity of an individual and proposal to consider enforcement action.

The public interest in maintaining the exemption which would protect the Council's interests in giving consideration to potential enforcement action outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information and providing greater openness in the Council's decision making.

Contact: John Ritchie, Senior Planning Officer

Decision:

That enforcement action be pursued.
