Most agenda items take place in public. This only changes where there is a need to consider exempt information, as contained at Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972. You will be informed at this point which items are to be recommended for exclusion and to be resolved by the Committee.

To appoint the Standards Sub Committee for the 2026/2027 Municipal Year.

Members are informed that it is proposed that the arrangements for representation of political groups on the Sub Committee should not be in accordance with the requirements of Sections 15 and 16 of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 and that the Sub Committee shall be constituted from the membership of Standards Committee.

This notice is given in accordance with Section 17 of the 1989 Act and Regulation 20 of the Local Government Act (Committee and Political Groups) Regulations 1990. The proposal will require approval with no Member of the Council voting against.
