To approve the Minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 18 December 2017.

 

Decision:

That the minutes of the meeting held on 18 December 2017 be approved as a correct record.

2.

The Councillors will be asked to say if there are any items on the Agenda in which they have disclosable pecuniary interests, which would prevent them from participating in any discussion of the items or participating in any vote upon the items, or any other interests.

 

Decision:

No interests were declared.

Admission of the Public

Most debates take place in public. This only changes when there is a need to consider certain issues, for instance, commercially sensitive information or details concerning an individual. You will be told at this point whether there are any items on the Agenda which are to be discussed in private.

That all items be considered in public session.

Members of the Committee will consider a Cabinet report relating to changes to support for disabled children.

(1)  That Sue Richards be thanked for attending the meeting.

Children's Scrutiny Panel work programme

The members of the committee will consider the updated work programme.

Future Meeting

To note that the next meeting of the Panel will be Monday 5th March 2018 at 10:00am in the Council Chamber, Huddersfield Town Hall. The meeting will be webcast.
