Annual Council
Purpose of committee
The Meeting of Annual Council takes places at the beginning of each municipal year and determines a range of constitutional matters for the forthcoming year, which would include the constitution of Council Committees, Boards and Panels and the appointment of Chairpersons. The Meeting of Annual Council also elects the Mayor and appoints the Deputy Mayor for the ensuing year.
