Committee details

The Policy Committee provides a forum for members and officers to air and consider new ideas and proposed changes to the policies and work of the council. The Policy Committee has no decision making powers. The debate and the recommendations from its meetings allow officers to prepare policies and formal reports for the Cabinet and Council meetings to consider and approve.
