Castle Grange is a Council run Dementia Specific Care home in Kirklees West Yorkshire. Kirklees Council have announced a proposal to close Castle Grange and move the residents to alternative Care. This would be hugely detrimental to the residents who need routine and familiarity in order to have the best quality of life and thrive. A move is likely to result in a dramatic deterioration for those affected by Dementia .
The decision as to whether or not to close Castle Grange will be made by the end of September 2023, so we need to work together and act NOW!!
The staff at Castle Grange are dedicated to providing high
quality care and getting to know each individual resident and their
families and are very welcoming to Family and Friends.
