A62 Smart Corridor – Variation to Funding Agreement

Kirklees Council has a number of schemes in the City Region WY+TF package. Focus is now firmly on delivery of a number of these schemes by 2021.

The Funder (West Yorkshire Combined Authority) and the Recipient (Kirklees Council) entered into a grant agreement for the development and delivery of the A62 Smart Corridor dated 19th October 2017. As a consequence of the approval of an Outline Business Case the Funder has agreed to grant an additional sum of £605,000 (six hundred and five thousand pounds) to further progress the scheme.

In consideration of the Funder granting the additional sum of £605,000 to the Recipient (“Additional Grant”), the Parties agree to amend the Grant Agreement to add the Additional Grant to the grant amount set out in the Grant Agreement.
