Following the successful launch of the
Huddersfield ‘Blueprint’, and the recent adoption of
the Huddersfield Town Centre Design Framework (HDF) by Cabinet, we
are committed to making significant improvements to our Public
Realm to meet our ambition.
The initial scheme has been identified along New Street, between
High Street and Cloth Hall Street. This will also dovetail into
improvement to both Cloth Hall Street and Market Place.
The proposal is for Cabinet to approve a phased approach of
investment in the Public Realm.
