The Huddersfield Blueprint sets out a framework for investors, developers and decision makers on the vision and objectives for Huddersfield town centre.
It has been subject to extensive early engagement with internal and external stakeholders and members and a draft Huddersfield Blueprint document was subject to consultation over a 12 week period.
The report has been amended in the light of the comments received on the Blueprint.
The report seeks endorsement from Cabinet to sign off a final version of the Blueprint and to start the statutory planning process to progress the Blueprint as a Supplementary Planning Document. This will involve a formal consultation stage as part of this process to comply with planning legislation.
