To seek Cabinet approval to:
Allocate funds from the Town Centre Capital Allocation to a number of specific areas, including:
· The Huddersfield Heritage Action Zone Programme
· The Huddersfield Future High Street Fund – New Market
· Transforming Cities projects in Huddersfield and Dewsbury
· Public Realm Programme Development
In addition authority is sought to draw down future grant allocations for town centre activity and also set out a protocol for accessing future funding in a climate of fast turnaround and expected delivery by MCHLG.
