Dewsbury Towns Fund & Getting Building Fund

 

 

To seek approval

1.      To carry out each project identified in the Dewsbury Towns Fund Advanced Funding 2020/21 project list attached to this notice

2.      To delegate to the Strategic Director for Growth & Regeneration the authority to negotiate and agree with Kirklees Theatre Trust, or another organisation supported by the Arts Council, to create a Creative Hub at 15, Union street, Dewsbury.

3.      For the Council to enter into a grant agreement with another party, where necessary, to help deliver the Better Spaces Programme in Dewsbury Town Centre.

4.      To implement the works within the Getting Building grant approval for the Arcade in Dewsbury and George Hotel in Huddersfield Town centre totalling £1,965,000
