Development of land at Southgate, Huddersfield

This is an updated description of the Key Decision Notice previously uploaded on 27 July 2020 to reflect a change in the proposed development strategy for Local Plan site allocation MXS2 – known as Southgate, Huddersfield. 

 

Proposed development options have been eliminated due to changing circumstances and it is now proposed to bring forward an option for the disposal of the site to a single partner.

 

It has not been possible to give 28 clear days’ notice of the revised key decision notice as a decision is required on the stated date to ensure legal arrangements can be put in place to ensure that a time limited offer can be accepted before the deadline for acceptance expires.

 

The report will contain an annex which may be considered in private as it is exempt via virtue of paragraph(s) 3 of part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 as it contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information.
