Disposal of land designated as "Open space" to Network Rail to facilitate the Transpennine Route Upgrade

For Cabinet to consider the disposal of two parcels of land categorised as “Open Space” to Network Rail in the light of:

 

-       Each parcel of land having received one objection to its disposal

-       One parcel of land has been valued at over £250,000.

-        

The two parcels are required to facilitate the Transpennine Route Upgrade.

Each parcel was advertised for 2 consecutive weeks in the relevant local newspaper and a further week was given for objections to be received.
