Business rates; expanded retail discount 2021/22

 

 

To approve the Government’s business rates expanded retail discount for 2021/22 which was announced as part of the Chancellor’s budget statement on 3 March 2021.

 

The existing 100% expanded retail discount scheme 2020/21 will roll forward into 2021/22 for the first 3 months, to 30 June 2021, and bills will be issued to ratepayers  eligible for the 66% discount for the remaining 9 months, from 1 July 2021 to 31 March 2022.
