All Local Authorities are required to set out they will operate a Staying Put scheme. This is a refresh of the existing policy.

Portfolio Holder engaged and consulted with on refreshed draft policy.

 

Heads of Service and Service Managers in the Care Leavers and Fostering Services have been consulted.

 

The refreshed draft policy has been shared with the Kirklees Fostering Network for comment and feedback.

 

Children’s Service’s Senior Leadership team have received a briefing for their own sign off of the policy.

 

The Executive Team have received a briefing and approved the policy to move forward to Cabinet for approval.

 

The policy is on the Corporate Parenting Board forward plan for 17th August 2021.

 

We are not aware of a requirement to publicly consult on the policy.
