COVID-19 Additional Relief Fund

The Government has established the COVID-19 Additional Rate Relief Fund (CARF). This will provide discretionary business rate relief for businesses that have been adversely impacted by the pandemic and are unable to adapt but are ineligible for existing rate relief schemes, including the Extended Retail Discount.

 

A decision is required to establish the eligibility criteria and the level of relief to be awarded through the Kirklees CARF scheme, and also for the following rate relief schemes:

 

·       2022/23 Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Relief Scheme

 

extension of Transitional Relief and Supporting Small Business Relief for small and medium properties.
