Sixth Avenue, Liversedge - Letting of a building contract

To mitigate the effect of the right to buy by increasing the council’s stock of social rented housing.

The alternative option was to leave the site undeveloped.  This was rejected as it does not maximise the use of council assets or further the council’s desire to increase housing supply.
