Public Health Kirklees designed MHT to support those living in Kirklees with Long Term Health Conditions. A review of the programme identified that public usage is low and for noticeably short visits (less than 1 minute). Maintenance of the information and management of the site is expensive, with excessive cost and low outcome. High quality, online information and support for Long-Term Conditions has increased since the development of the programme. This has resulted in MHT becoming unfit for purpose.
We recommend more sophisticated, national online programmes and referrals to the Wellbeing Service for Kirklees residents requiring support and advice for their Long-Term Conditions. Examples below:
