When formulating the Resources & Waste Strategy, an extensive engagement process was conducted in Autumn 2020 and the Strategy incorporates the findings of this exercise.
This is an update of the 12 month and 5-year commitments within the original strategy. The update has been formulated with further internal engagement, public scrutiny and discussions with DEFRA. This is primarily to reflect the changes to Central Government legislation and funding timeframes.
