This report will present the outcomes of this year’s statutory consultation on admission arrangements for all Kirklees community and voluntary controlled schools for 2027/28. These admission arrangements must be determined by 28th February 2026 to comply with the national School Admissions Code.
There is ongoing engagement with the Kirklees school system including via the Places Access and Inclusion Committee of the Education and Learning Partnership Board. There will be specific communication about opportunities for engagement with Headteachers and Governing Bodies prior to the launch of the statutory consultation.
There will be a six week statutory consultation with all stakeholders.
