Notice of proposed decision first published: 06/08/2015
Explanation of anticipated restriction:
Part of the report will be recommended for consideration in private by virtue of Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended by the Local Government (Access to Information) (Variation) Order 2006 (Exemption Clause 3), as it contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information). It is considered that disclosure of the information could prejudice the Council obtaining best value in the procurement of demolition works and other services. The public interest in maintaining the exemption, which would protect the interests of the Council, outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information and providing openness in the Council’s decision making.
