respect of which the charity acts or has acted as a foundation it being acknowledged that in carrying out the Objects the charity must, so far as it is consistent with this purpose, have regard to its obligations to promote community cohesion under the Education Acts.

Trust Partners work together to achieve this. The partners in the Trust are:

Heckmondwike Grammar School,

Kirklees College,

Kirklees Council,

The University of Huddersfield.

The Trust was established as a National Challenge Trust to support Westborough High School and implement its improvement plan, but the School emerged quickly from National Challenge and the Trust now operates with a more developmental and ambitious agenda.
