Purpose

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Kirklees, to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation, provision of housing and associated amenities, promotion of education and relief of poverty.

Role/ Expectations of Representatives

To be able to consider schemes - housing, development, regeneration expertise, awareness of community development, private sector, housing management and maintenance issues also advantageous.

Meetings/ Time Commitments

The Board normally meets 10 times a year on a Thursday afternoon, 3-5pm outlook appointments are sent out to all Members.
