Purpose
Provide for consultation as to the common interest of member authorities and discussion of matters relating to local government. Agree the budget of the association and set subscriptions. Deal with other business as determined by the LGA Executive. Make standing orders for the regulation of its proceedings and approve and issue a set of Conventions governing relationships between the political parties in the conduct of the association's business.
Role/ Expectations of Representatives
To represent the authority at meetings of the General Assembly.
Meetings/ Time Commitments
Two meetings per year - July and December.
