Purpose

To process and adjudicate on appeals against penalty charge notices issued by councils in England and Wales under the Road Traffic Act 1991. See also additional information below.

Role/ Expectations of Representatives

To act under the functions of the joint committee.

Meetings/ Time Commitments

Annual General Meeting in July plus two per year, usually January and June at National Parking Adjudication Service offices in Manchester.

PATROL also deals with matters relating to bus lanes with effect from 1^st April 2023, previously considered by BLASJC – Bus Lane Adjudication Service Joint Committee.
