Outside body

Purpose

(a) Provision and maintenance of accommodation for the Reserve Forces and cadets.

(b) Recruiting and Publicity for TA and cadet adults plus public relations.

(c) Liaison with the Regular Army, employers, trade unions and local authorities.

(d) Certain welfare aspects of the Reserve Forces.

Role/ Expectations of Representatives

To attend the Association Meeting twice a year and report back to Council. Act as point of contact for the Association with the Council

Meetings/ Time Commitments

Two meeting per year, normally March and November.Mondays, starting at 1100 hours, followed by buffet lunch, clear 1400 hours. Not normally any Sub Group involvement for Council representatives.
