Purpose

To provide grants to students attending University, must be aged under 25 years on 01 September of the year in which applying. Must be resident in the area of The Ancient Parish of Thornhill, St. Michael, which is Briestfield, Savile Town, Thornhill Lees, Thornhill or Whitley (within the Dewsbury South Ward of Kirklees Council); the Flockton Ward of the Kirkburton Parish Council; and the Parish of Sitlington (within the Wakefield Rural Ward of Wakefield Council). Applications from outside this area cannot be considered. Application forms are available, 15 August to 15 October, for return by 30 October; and can be obtained by sending s.a.e. to the contact named below. 

Role/ Expectations of Representatives

To attend 1 meeting per year.

Meetings/ Time Commitments

One meeting in November.
