West Yorkshire Joint Services Appointments and Appeals Panel

Purpose

The Joint Services Committee will approve the appointment of the Director following the recommendation of the Appointments and Appeals Panel. 

Disciplinary action against the Director will be the responsibility of the Appointments and Appeals Panel.

Appeal against dismissal in respect of the Director and Service Heads will be the responsibility of the Appointments and Appeals Panel.

Role/Expectations Of Representatives

To attend shortlisting/interviews to make recommendations on appointment of a new Director to the Joint Services Committee.  To consider disciplinary action against the Director and consider any appeals in respect of the Director and Service Head of WYJS. 

Meetings/Time Commitment

As required.
