PURPOSE

Employment and Skills Committee is a thematic, decision-making committee which:

Makes decisions about Non-Mayoral Functions relating to employment and skills, (including adult education functions), on behalf of the Combined Authority, and

Advises the Combined Authority and the Mayor.

ROLE/EXPECTATIONS OF REPRESENTATIVES

To attend formal committee meetings to consider items relating to the work of the Committee.

MEETINGS/TIME COMMITMENT

There are usually three meetings per year.
