1.	Minutes of Previous Meeting PDF 103 KB To approve the Minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 4 March 2019 Contact: Penny Bunker – Governance and Democratic Engagement Manager Decision: The minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 4 March 2019 were agreed as a correct record.
2.	Interests PDF 20 KB The Councillors will be asked to say if there are any items on the Agenda in which they have disclosable pecuniary interests, which would prevent them from participating in any discussion of the items or participating in any vote upon the items, or any other interests. Decision: No interests were declared.
3.	Admission of the Public Most debates take place in public. This only changes when there is a need to consider certain issues, for instance, commercially sensitive information or details concerning an individual. You will be told at this point whether there are any items on the Agenda which are to be discussed in private. Decision: It was agreed that all agenda items would be considered in public session.
4.	Kirklees Local Flood Risk Management Strategy - Annual Review of Progress against the Action Plan PDF 66 KB To consider the updated Kirklees Local Flood Risk Management Strategy and comment on the progress made implementing the attached action plan and the targeting of resources. PDF 118 KB Decision: (1) The Committee thanked Mr Ghee for attending and the support he has provided to Scrutiny work over recent years. (2) The Committee noted the revised reporting format and the focus on a smaller set of actions. (3) The Committee welcomed the ongoing work in communities and the work with local ward councillors. (4) That as part of work with local councillors, consideration is given to the flood risk issues in the Mirfield area.
5.	Scrutiny Lead Member End of Year Reports PDF 60 KB To receive the final reports of Scrutiny Lead Members for the 2018/19 municipal year. (2) That thanks be placed on record for the work of Cllr Julie Stewart Turner in her role as Chair of Scrutiny. Cllr Stewart Turner was also wished every success for the future as she stepped down from serving as a Councillor.
