Decision:

That the Minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 3 September 2018 be approved as a correct record.

The Councillors will be asked to say if there are any items on the Agenda in which they have disclosable pecuniary interests, which would prevent them from participating in any discussion of the items or participating in any vote upon the items, or any other interests.

Decision:

No interests were declared.

Admission of the Public

Most debates take place in public. This only changes when there is a need to consider certain issues, for instance, commercially sensitive information or details concerning an individual. You will be told at this point whether there are any items on the Agenda which are to be discussed in private.

Decision:

That all agenda items be considered in public session.

Councillor Shabir Pandor, Leader of the Council will attend the meeting to set out his priorities for the Council for the municipal year. 

Decision:

That:-

a)    Cllr Pandor, be thanked for attending the meeting to set out his priorities

 

b)    Cllr Pandor be invited back in April 2019, to a provide a progress update on his priorities

To consider the progress of the work of the Ad hoc Scrutiny Panel into Elective Home Education

That:-

a)    That Cllr Burke be thanked for providing an update on the work of the Ad Hoc Scrutiny Panel, looking into Elective Home Education, and

 

b)    Management Committee note the work of the ad-hoc panel to date

To appoint an interim co-optee to the Economy and Neighbourhoods Scrutiny Panel

That the appointment of an interim co-optee to support the work of the Economy and Neighbourhoods Scrutiny Panel be agreed.
