Climate Emergency and Air Quality – next steps – Electric Vehicles

Following the declaration of a Climate Emergency and Air Quality Management Areas, reports and plans have been presented to Cabinet in November 2019 to deal with the challenges. Cabinet requested officers to go further and identify additional action around sustainable travel. As a result, a further report has been prepared recommending additional investment in Electric Vehicles in the Council fleet and public charging infrastructure – investment should be prioritised through the budget setting process.
